Although I think the writer of this article, who is an agent, tended to over-write -- which is something I'm sure would have turned her off if a query letter that hit her desk was so written -- and was often somewhat flippant, the core of what she said was extremely useful. These are answers to questions we writers want to know. It's too bad someone has to work so hard to get to them.
